Summer High Performance Conditioning Camps 2013
July 2 - August 30
When July 2nd hits, Twist’s Off-Season High Performance Hockey Conditioning Camps are elevated to the next level. With 8-9 weeks left before tryouts and training camps, Twist’s HP Camp will take care of all your off-season developmental needs and have you more than ready for the season ahead.
Whether you are registered in our Elite HP 8 Week program, or in our Elite Weekly Camps, athletes will be in the gym for 2+ hours, 5 days a week and will skate 3 or 4 days per week.

Elite High Performance 8 Week Summer Camp
July 2 to August 23 (8 Weeks)
Ben Maxwell (Winnipeg Jets) and Coach Spencer Baker
- Twist’s flagship off-season all-inclusive camp that takes care of all your off-season developmental needs
- Integrated dryland and on-ice program; extensive dryland training (100+ hours) and on-ice training and skill development (42 hours)
- Periodized progressive program that integrates our dryland and on-ice program design and coaching
- Dryland - Strength & power development, speed, agility, quickness, explosive power, anaerobic systems, rotary power, core strength, mobility/stability & more
- Ice - Skating mechanics, plyometrics, starting quickness, explosive speed, agility, individual skill development, tactics, powerskating, scrimmaging and more
- Pre and post on and off-ice testing, i360 athlete evaluations, recovery and regeneration, mental training, athletic yoga and more
- Nutrition Education and Meal Planning - Learn how to fuel your body for optimal on-ice performance
- Personal coach and mentor to personalize each athletes program, set goals, communicate with the on-ice coaching staff, and motivate each athlete
Elite High Performance 4 Week PeeWee Camp
July 29 to August 23 (4 Weeks)
- All-inclusive camp that is modeled after the Elite HP 8 Week Camp, but with program design, volume and intensity modified for age and maturation
- Integrated dryland and on-ice program; 5 dryland sessions per week for 90 minutes each, and 4 ice sessions per week for 75 minutes
- Pre and post on and off-ice testing, nutrition education, recovery and regeneration sessions, mental training and more
- Personal coach and mentor to personalize each athletes program, set goals, communicate with the on-ice coaching staff, and motivate each athlete
High Performance Summer Weekly Camps
July 2 - August 30
If you are unable to commit to 6 or more weeks, players can choose to join on a weekly basis. The weekly camps include 5 days of dryland training, plus 3-4 on-ice sessions per week. Build your speed, agility, strength, power, quickness, skating mechanics, individual skills and on-ice performance with Twist’s world renowned dryland and on-ice hockey training methods.
