Conditioning
Twist Conditioning is a world-leader in
sport-specific training and functional fitness, offering an array of athlete
performance and fitness training services, sport-fitness products, and sport
conditioning educational resources and certifications to help aspiring athletes
and fitness enthusiast achieve and exceed their goals.
Twist Conditioning Inc. is spearheaded by Peter Twist, exercise physiologist and
11 year NHL Conditioning Coach, and staffed with an array of sport conditioning
specialists. Twist has a branded reputation anchored in elite athlete training,
high quality coaching, research and exercise creation, packaging of teaching
sequences and corrective cues, and crafting of a positive learning environment
and corporate culture that encourages best efforts and enjoyment of the
experience.
The Twist Conditioning Team has successfully optimized the sport performance of
over 700 professional athletes including Mark Messier, Pavel Bure, Hakeem
Olajawan, Markus Naslund, and Trevor Linden. Today the team of Twist Sport
Conditioning Specialists coach professional, national, provincial, NCAA, high
school, amateur athletes, and adult athletes from a mix of over 30 different
sports. Today, all athletes in all sports turn to sport conditioning for a
competitive edge.
The Twist Athlete Conditioning Centre center hosts professional and amateur
level teams and athletes from many sports including, hockey, soccer, tennis,
golf, baseball, basketball, softball, football, lacrosse, rugby, and many more
The Twist Athlete Conditioning Centre also offers adult functional training
programs and private training service for adult athletes and recreationalists.
The Twist Sport Conditioning Centre is currently accepting applications from
qualified individuals to fill the following positions:
Sport Conditioning Coach
General Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree or in 3rd or 4th year in a sport science field: Human
Kinetics, Physical Education, or Kinesiology.

Sport
coaching background
-
Experience as a competitive athlete
-
Experience in conditioning athletes
-
Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Capable of working effectively in a team situation and also independently.

Individuals must be able to organize and prioritize effectively and work in
a multi task environment.
Job Descriptions:

Sport Conditioning Coach (Part-Time and Full-Time Positions available)
Hands-on coaching, 1 on 1 training, team and group training, exercise and
drill prescription, assessments and testing with athletes, teams, and groups
from many different sports and levels.
