Twist Conditioning Inc. is currently accepting
applications from qualified individuals to fill the following position:
PERFORMANCE FITNESS PRODUCT AND EDUCATION
ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE
SYNOPSIS:
The qualified individual will be responsible for providing customers with
product and educational service information to assist them in determining
appropriate merchandise or programs to purchase. Twist Conditioning
representatives are responsible for promoting and supplying Twist products and
educational services to our existing and new customer accounts. Other
responsibilities include: exceptional customer service, meeting sales
objectives, maintaining a professional image of Twist Conditioning, assisting
and facilitating customer purchases, and trade show representation.
Requirements of the position are: strong selling
skills, good written and verbal communication, time management and planning
skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work with autonomy. The ideal
candidate will have experience in the fitness industry as a fitness professional
or sales rep, and have knowledge of functional fitness and sport performance
training. However, we will train the right candidate.
The Product/Education Account rep will receive
(by telephone, fax and e-mail) requests for quotations, orders, and lead times
from customers, for a specific market segment. He/she will receive all incoming
inquiries directly pertaining to this population, and will be responsible for
making quotations on standard items, writing orders and invoices, and relaying
pertinent order information to customers. The handling of cash and credit
transactions is required.
The Account Rep will target potential clients,
develop an account development strategy, conduct a "hunter" prospecting
campaign, develop relationships and understand the product selection and usage
issues that contribute to the client’s critical success with our product and
education paradigm . The Account Rep works closely with the internal
product/education team to develop and present customized solutions that drive
sales and channel performance, create customer Brand preference and build
employee buy-in for the product and training platforms presented.
Finally, the Account Rep seeks ways to renew the
programs, expand the business opportunity and grow the relationship.

join our Vancouver, BC based head office.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree/diploma in a sport science field:
Human Kinetics, Physical Education with a specialization in business or
communication OR College diploma or equivalent, in recreation/sport
management.
- Industry recognized Fitness Leader
certification
- Strong communication skills, verbal and
written.
- Capable of working effectively in a team
situation and also independently.
- Individuals must be able to organize and
prioritize effectively and work in a multi task environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Solid understanding of computer basics
(Windows, Excel, Word, Email, and Internet)
- Creative problem solving skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent listening, oral, and written
communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Excellent product and process knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in a sales oriented
position is preferred.
- Background and personal interest in sport,
fitness and health is highly recommended.
