Fireside Chat: How to Pick a Good Sprint Coach

I am starting a new video series called “Fireside Chat” after my recent experience in San Francisco last month.  I had the opportunity to watch (live) Sir Richard Branson at the 2012 Dreamforce conference, and it was inspiring to see a great business & thought leader share his experiences, especially when he creates companies out of frustration!

In a way, I can relate because I started SpeedEndurance in May 2007 after the SysAdmin for the Charlie Francis Forum (**cough cough Rupert Young cough cough**) locked me out for no apparent reason.  I wanted to write a book, and a Blog was a great way to organize my chapters.

So what I plan to do is go through my mail bag (or email InBox… “mail bag” just sounds more sexy) and ask various coaches a single question, hence the name “fireside chat”. I’ll try to aim between 10-20 minutes, but if the interviewee wants to go long, I won’t stop him or her!

How to Pick (or Change) Sprint Coaches

I wrote an article on changing coaches, and Eric Dixon gave 13 great tips on How to Pick a Good Sprint Coach.

In this video, I am in Vancouver asking Derek Hansen of www.strengthpowerspeed.com and www.runningmechanics.com how to pick a good sprint coach, and whether you should actually change your coach.
