Marketing & Service Manager – VANCOUVER LOWER MAINLAND
Twist Conditioning is a world-leader in sport-specific training and functional fitness, offering an array of athlete performance and fitness training services, sport-fitness products, and sport conditioning educational resources and certifications to help aspiring athletes and fitness enthusiasts achieve and exceed their goals.
The Twist Sport Conditioning Centre center hosts professional and amateur level teams and athletes from many sports including, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, baseball, basketball, softball, football, lacrosse, rugby, and many more. The Twist Sport Conditioning Centre also offers adult functional training programs and private training service for adult athletes and recreationalists. In addition to our training services, we retail over 300 different sport conditioning and functional fitness products in our product retail store. Twist Conditioning is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time Marketing and Service Manager.
Job Description:
The Marketing & Service Manager works side by side with the Director of the Centre and has a variety of roles in both the Twist Sport Conditioning Centre and Twist Product Retail Store including but not limited to:- Sales and Marketing: Networking, campaigns, community events, direct mail, e-mail, database sourcing and compilation, tradeshows, personal selling, and more
- Front Desk Operations: Athlete check-in, training services and product sales, operations software
- Customer Service: Walk-in customers, follow ups, check ups including but not limited to phone, e-mail and direct mail
- Administrative Duties: Registration and intake of athletes, compiling and organizing athlete and group files and rosters, daily financial report, weekly statistics report
- Communication: Training services and products to general customers, athletes, coaches, parents, and agents
- Organization: Filing system, templates, e-mail, mailing, and faxing athletes and prospects
- Scheduling: New private one-on-one, small group, additional services
- Facility Maintenance and Care: Equipment safety checks and reporting, office equipment maintenance, inventory, general cleaning
- Products: Ordering, shipping, receiving, inventory
- Management: Managing sales and service team as required with growth
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in the field of Sports Sciences or Business. Knowledge of the sport conditioning market.
- Certification: Twist Sport Conditioning Coach Certifications are highly reccomended.
- Athletic background: Competed at an elite level or intermediate level of sports an asset
- Experience: Marketing, customer service, sales, administration
- Personal skill set: Strong communication skills, work effectively in a team situation and independently, organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize, fun and positve attitude, public speaking or presenting experience an asset
- Network: The ideal candidate is highly connected in the local sport community
